Aida Solitaire Radiant Ring
Explore measuring methods for jewelry. Any purchasable size is selected in the product options.
Measure a ring you wear
Inner diameter is measured between the inside edges.
- Choose a ring that sits comfortably on the intended finger.
- Lay it flat and measure straight across the inside opening, through the centre.
- Record the inner diameter and its unit. Use a confirmed ring-size chart to match a named size system.
Measure your wrist
Follow the wrist with a flexible measuring tape.
- Wrap a flexible tape around the wrist where the bracelet will sit.
- Keep the tape flat and record the circumference. You can also compare with a bracelet you wear comfortably.
- Compare your measurement with any length supplied for the product. Fit allowance depends on the bracelet design.
Find your preferred drape
A non-stretch cord helps you compare necklace lengths.
- Place a non-stretch cord along your neckline at the position you prefer.
- Mark the ends, lay the cord flat and measure its length.
- Compare the result with a chain length explicitly listed for the product. Pendant dimensions and chain length are separate measurements.
Compare drop and width
Measure the full drop and widest point separately.
- Choose an earring you wear comfortably and lay it flat.
- Measure the drop from its attachment point to the lowest point, then measure its widest part.
- Record both measurements with their units and compare with dimensions supplied for the product.
Read gauge and length separately
Post length and thickness describe different dimensions.
- Check the size, gauge and length labels in the product options.
- Compare with the measurements of jewelry that already fits. Record the labels and units exactly as stated.
- Gauge systems vary. Use a product-specific gauge-to-diameter conversion only when that system is confirmed.
